Our latest events

We are doing more and more weddings which we love! Elvis makes a wedding reception even more special.  Everyone gets up to dance to ‘Always on my mind’ and jive to ‘Johnny b Goode’. We also do the disco so no need to pay for a DJ on top.  Click here for photos of the latest wedding where the bridesmaids stayed glued to my side!  Look out for our new advert in the January edition of “You and Your Wedding”.. click here for a preview photo!

If you think you like sound of an Elvis night, come and check one out! See upcoming gigs on the left.

August 2007

The One Show BBC1

In August I was invited onto the One Show with Adrian Chiles & Christine Bleakley. Please click here to see the photo.

This was to celebrate Elvis Life and the anniversary of his death 30 years ago.

Along with myself there were 29 more Elvis Tributes all ready to sing on the show LIVE!!

We did sing live on the show and it all went without any problems. A credit to all who were there.

September 2007

Tish and I flew out to Florida on 9th September, then onto Memphis.

I last visited Memphis in 1990 and boy there have been changes.

Gracelands Mansion is still the same and will always be the heart of Memphis.

Downtown has changed beyond recognition and is a busy happening place, just a shame that some of the originality has gone.

Please see the photo’s of Memphis, Gracelands and Sun Studios here.

26 October 2007 – Peking

Another fantastic night in the Peking, Dorking.  A packed house where we even had the takeaway customers dancing! And we played the early set in the GI uniform which got everyone marching.  Thanks to Ray, an up and coming Frank Sinatra Tribute, who kept people singing and dancing during our interval.  Looking forward to another night there 23 November and of course, New Year’s Eve.  Book now, it’s selling out. November 2007

Fund Raiser/Tribute Nights

The first was a great success for breast cancer, thanks to Helen Lynn and her mum, Sue.  Thanks to all who came and to all those pink princesses who danced around in our hula hula skirts.  And of course, who could forget the bar staff serving drinks in their pink bras! Click here to do your bit for the fight against breast cancer and help someone receive a free mammogram.

The second was a tribute night for Lance Corporal James Cartwright and for all the service men and women who have served or are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The evening kicked off with top class snooker from Jimmy White and Alex Higgins, who brilliantly put everyone in the mood for dancing around Elvis.  We had a great night and have never had so many women grabbing the hula skirts to dance!  Again, thanks to all those who came and made it a special night for James’ family.

We do like to do what we can for good causes.  If you are interested in a fund raising event we maybe able to help.  Click here for our enquiry form

September 2007

So Tish and I took a long awaited trip to Graceland.  It’s my second trip there but we still managed to spend 8 hours there, being some of the last people to write on the wall outside. It is a fantastic place to go, even if you are not a big Elvis fan.  It had changed a bit since I last went, with some of Elvis’ costumes now being moved into a new museum on site. Tish was surprised at how much of a family home it really was and how it was surprisingly tasteful considering how flamboyant Elvis was sometimes! You could really tell he was just a boy from Tupelo who was lucky enough to have just the voice and good looks Sam Phillips was looking for…..

….speaking of which we also visited Sun Studios where there’s a lot more to see than just Elvis.  Sun studios was the starting point to many music greats, including Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis.  Again this is well worth a visit and this time you can even record a song there….
